  • I recieved my copy of The Scrapbook on Friday. I started reading it the next morning and found it almost impossible to put down. I've NEVER read a book that reached me like this one, so much of it was ''real''. I laughed and cried as I read page after page, I had a few OMG moments and a few others that I don't have a name for yet. I can't wait for the next book! I will be looking for it!

  • With any good book, there's a beginning, a middle and an end. Most times I can guess what may happen, what turns and twists will occur...but boyO! oh BOY! I didn't see a lot of things coming! I was like, ''what? woh? wait...back up here...what'd I miss?'' I did do a lot of reflecting, too while reading this book. It does center around the the theme of scrapbooking...the who/what/where and of course the relationships that we all love to treasure, celebrate and remember. Ok...I could go on.... I would normally go on... but if you scrapbook, ya gotta read this book. If you've every had a friend since birth (ok that's rare, but maybe a longtime friend) ya gotta read this book. If you deserve a break in life and have a few hours each day, ya gotta read this book AND If you don't scrapbook now, after reading this book, you might just find yourself borrowing some paper scraps from someone who does! stampinndahood.blogspot.com

  • What a superb story, unique approach to scrapbooking interwoven with friendship and love. Great book for scrapbookers, wonderful for non-scrapbookers, and memorable for renewing friendships and relationships. It was hard for me to put this book down. An intriguing, absorbing, thoughtful, well-written, good book which was also emotional to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

  • I love more than a good book, I love one that will make you see the people and feel their emotion. This book did this and more, it made me want to pick up my paper and scissors and scrapbook for my family!

  • I loved this book! It was a great escape for me, an easy read, and I couldn't stop reading. It sort of reminded me of the movie ''Beaches'' - but with a twist that goes deeper than you could have guessed. I would say that this novel would appeal to a non-scrapbooker, just as much as someone who relates to scrapbooking. A scrapbook is involved in some of the story, but it is not about scrapbooking, so much. I recommend it VERY HIGHLY!

  • Peggy has done a fabulous job of putting the art and love of scrapbooking into words. If you are a scrapbooker, you will love and appreciate all the references in this book. But if you're not a scrapbooker, I think you will come to understand through this novel what makes us craft our memories into albums. How wonderful to have this book on my shelf to read time and again!

  • Don't let the name of the book fool you...it isn't just about scrapbooking or written just for an audience of scrapbookers. The story focuses on an amazing friendship, love and loss. This book catches your attention (and keeps it) with interesting twists and fabulous characters. I truly enjoyed this book...so much that I went back and reread many parts. Don't pass this one up!

  • I loved this book! I have been an avid scrapbooker for 8 years and this book encompassed the reasons and love I have for scrapbooking. It is such a beautiful story of love and friendship...it made me want to share it with all of my scrapbooking girlfriends! You will literally laugh and cry while you read this book. I was torn as I read this book. I wanted so much to continue reading but at the same time I was compelled to finish my own scrapbook pages!!! This is a must read for anyone who enjoys scrapbooking!!!!
